When viewing the schedule, its important you know your students level. Level descriptions are below and also located on our website. The website also has attire, class levels, etc.

DANCE LEVELS:

• Beginning: New to the style
• Beginning+: Has taken classes in this style, familiar with basics.
• Intermediate: Has many years experience, typically has competed before, solid knowledge and execution of skills.
• Advanced: Has many years experience, typically has competed before, solid knowledge and execution of skills.

TUMBLING LEVELS:
NOTE:  (choose the highest skill that can be performed safely without a spot).

• Level 1: Working to get cartwheels, round offs, arch ups etc.
• Level 2: Can do all level 1 skills in proper form.
• Level 3: Can do a ack walk over and/or standing handspring
• Level 4: Can do round off back handspring.
• Level 5: Can back do series handspring and/or round off tuck
• Level 6:  Has hack handspring back tuck (running or standing) in proper form, working on layouts, fulls or other advanced skills.

AGE KEY (Grade  as of fall 2025)

• Pre-k: Ages 4-5 (Pre/K)
• Mini: Ages 6-7 (K-2nd)

• Novice = New to a style or has some knowledge of ballet positions and jazz technique but is still working on consistency and form.
• Beginning = Knows all basic ballet positions, how to do a single pirouette correctly, is working on double pirouettes, and leaps.
• Intermediate =  Beginning skills have been mastered.  Has solid double pirouette,  working on triples and other advanced turn variations, as well as switch leaps
• Advanced= Intermediate skills have been mastered.  Has Solid triple or quad, excellent flexibility, and switch leaps.
